Junior Accountant for Kolkata

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Kolkata. The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in accounting, along with strong proficiency in Excel, including Vlookup and MIS reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain petty cash records.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as required.
• Handle correspondence and communication related to accounting matters.
• Support senior accountants in various accounting tasks and projects.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Vlookup and MIS reporting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to Draft Emails
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
