Junior Advocate

Juris Consillis is a reputed litigation law firm based in New Marine Lines, Mumbai, with a strong practice in Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, Insolvency (NCLT), Arbitration, Commercial Disputes, and Property Matters.

We are looking for a motivated and career-oriented Junior Advocate to join our growing litigation team. This role offers excellent exposure to High Court litigation, City Civil Court matters, Commercial Courts, NCLT proceedings, and Arbitration. The selected candidate will work closely with experienced legal professionals, gain extensive courtroom exposure, and build a long-term career in litigation.

The selected advocate will assist and independently handle litigation matters before various courts and tribunals while contributing to legal research, drafting, and client representation.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft plaints, petitions, applications, notices, affidavits, agreements, and written submissions.
• Handle Civil and Criminal Litigation matters.
• Work on Property Matters and Commercial Disputes.
• Handle Insolvency proceedings before NCLT.
• Assist in Arbitration proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.
• Appear before Bombay High Court, City Civil Court, Commercial Courts, NCLT, and other tribunals.
• Manage court filings and procedural compliances.
• Prepare case briefs and maintain legal documentation.
• Maintain digital legal records and case management systems.
• Utilize AI-assisted legal research tools and legal technology platforms.
• Coordinate with clients, counsel, and court officials.
• Attend court hearings and independently seek adjournments whenever required.

Experience

5–9 Years

Candidates should possess practical litigation experience and demonstrate the ability to handle court matters with minimal supervision.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Saturday: Half Day

Salary

₹6 – ₹18 Lakhs per annum

Salary will be offered based on the candidate's litigation experience, drafting ability, court exposure, and overall suitability.
