Junior Compliance Analyst

Role Summary

We are seeking a Junior Compliance Analyst to join the Global Business Ethics team. This entry-level role is designed for someone eager to learn and grow in the areas of anti-bribery/anti-corruption (ABAC) and anti-money laundering (AML).

The Junior Analyst will primarily support due diligence activities, compliance reporting, and administrative tasks, while gaining exposure to compliance programs across different countries. The position offers structured training and mentorship under the supervision of the Global Business Ethics Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Due Diligence Support




• Perform basic due diligence, including screening third parties against sanctions and watch lists, and identifying key details such as legal representatives and shareholders.


• Conduct enhanced due diligence by sending questionnaires to requesters, ensuring that completed questionnaires are returned, complete, and accurate.


• Review supporting documentation provided as part of the due diligence process.


• Escalate any identified red flags to the Global Business Ethics Manager.




• Administrative & Operational Assistance




• Maintain compliance trackers, ensuring that all requests (e.g., vendor reviews, donations, sponsorships, gifts, hospitality, business advisors) are up to date.


• Assist in preparing monthly compliance KPI reports and dashboards.


• Take notes during meetings and prepare meeting minutes.


• Help organize meetings with compliance officers and ensure proper follow-up on action items.


• Assist in preparing presentations and reviewing documents (e.g., PowerPoints, reports), ensuring they are clear and error-free.




• Program Support




• Provide logistical support for compliance activities across different countries.


• Support the implementation of compliance tools and processes

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance (Anticorruption / Antimoney Laundering) or a related field.


• Junior profile (internships or up to 1–2 years of relevant experience welcome).


• Basic knowledge or strong interest in anti-corruption and anti-money laundering (training will be provided).

Languages

• Excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.


• Additional languages are a strong plus, given the global scope of the role.

Technical Skills

• Good command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.


• Ability to review documents carefully and ensure accuracy.

Soft Skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


• High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
