Junior DevOps Engineer

Position: Junior DevOps Engineer (Fresher)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supporting Linux -based systems and environments
  

• Use Git for version control and collaborate with team members using GitHub or GitLab
  

• Support application build and deployment processes under guidance
  

• Assist in containerizing applications using Docker and deploying them using Kubernetes
  

• Help monitor and troubleshoot basic infrastructure and application issues
  

• Support CI/CD pipelines and assist in automating routine operational tasks
  

• Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments
  

• Maintain basic documentation for processes, configurations, and workflows
  

Requirements

Must -Have Skills

• Experience of Linux terminal commands
  

• Understanding of Git and version control concepts
  

• Familiarity with GitHub or GitLab repositories and workflows
  

• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals
  

• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
  

• Knowledge of containerization platforms (example: Docker / Kubernetes / nomad)
  

Good -to -Have Skills

• Knowledge on CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
  

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or others
  

• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes through projects or labs
  

• Networking certifications or coursework (CCNA or similar)
