Junior Executive - Packing Plant

A. Packing Plant Operations

• Operate and monitor cement packing machines, including rotary packers and electronic packing systems.


• Ensure smooth functioning of automatic bagging, bag applicators, weigh feeders and related equipment.


• Monitor cement packing, bag filling accuracy and overall packing efficiency.


• Ensure achievement of daily packing and dispatch targets.


• Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance and logistics teams for uninterrupted operations.

B. Equipment Monitoring & Maintenance

• Monitor the performance of packing machines, belt conveyors, bucket elevators and air compressors.


• Identify operational abnormalities and coordinate with maintenance teams for corrective action.


• Minimize equipment breakdowns and packing line downtime.


• Ensure preventive maintenance activities are carried out as per schedule.


• Monitor and control cement leakage, spillage and material wastage.

C. Quality & Process Control

• Ensure correct bag weight and compliance with prescribed packing standards.


• Monitor underweight and overweight bags and take corrective action.


• Ensure proper handling and stacking of cement bags.


• Maintain packing quality and minimize customer complaints related to bag weight and packaging.

D. Dispatch & Coordination

• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams for timely truck loading.


• Ensure proper operation of truck loading systems and telescopic chutes.


• Monitor vehicle turnaround time and packing-to-dispatch efficiency.


• Maintain daily production, packing and dispatch reports.

E. Safety & Housekeeping

• Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and PPE requirements.


• Conduct regular inspections of packing plant equipment and work areas.


• Ensure proper housekeeping and dust control.


• Identify unsafe conditions and report near misses and incidents.
