About the Role

LifestyleAsia India is looking for a passionate and creative Junior Features Writer to contribute to our growing digital presence. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for trends, a strong understanding of luxury, fashion, beauty, culture, dining, and lifestyle, and the ability to craft compelling, social-first, and video-friendly content.

The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in India’s luxury and lifestyle scene, has a flair for storytelling, and understands what makes content viral across Instagram, YouTube, and the web.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial & Digital Content Creation

• Research and write engaging features, listicles, and trend-driven stories across fashion, beauty, entertainment, food, travel, and luxury lifestyle.


• Create snackable, SEO-optimised digital content that drives engagement on the website and social media platforms.


• Adapt content for multiple formats – articles, reels, short-form videos, and carousels.

Video & Social Media-First Writing

• Pitch, script, and assist in video content production for LifestyleAsia India’s social and digital channels.


• Collaborate with the video and social teams to create visually engaging, story-driven content that aligns with trending formats.


• On-camera confidence is a plus, with opportunities to host or contribute to video series, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content.

Trend Spotting & Industry Coverage

• Stay ahead of luxury lifestyle trends, celebrity culture, and pop culture moments to drive real-time content creation.


• Cover key industry events, brand launches, and red-carpet moments, ensuring first-mover advantage in lifestyle reporting.

Brand & Talent Collaboration

• Work with PR agencies, luxury brands, and influencers to secure exclusive interviews, product launches, and brand features.


• Represent LifestyleAsia India at select media events, networking with industry leaders, designers, and tastemakers.

Experience

·      1-2 years of experience in lifestyle journalism, digital media, or social-first content creation.

·      Strong writing and research skills, with an ability to adapt tone and style for digital audiences.

·      Interest in luxury, fashion, beauty, pop culture, and entertainment trends.

·      Familiarity with SEO, social media algorithms, and video content formats.

·      Comfortable working in a fast-paced, digital-first newsroom with quick turnarounds.

·      Basic knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, or video editing tools is a plus.
