Project Summary

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies and modern front-end frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable web applications (C#, REST APIs. SQL, Docker containerization), working across the full software development lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will emphasize partnership and servant leadership within your team and the organization, collaborating closely with team members, business stakeholders, and data science teams to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native enterprise solutions. In this role, you will build feature-rich, high-performing applications using technologies such as React/HTML, C#, REST APIs, Docker, MS and Progress SQL into production-quality systems that connect with broader enterprise platforms.

You will actively participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews, ensuring a high standard of code quality and test automation. Working within an Agile SDLC, you will continuously enhance your own skills and contribute to the growth of others through experimentation, training, and knowledge sharing, helping drive innovation and engineering excellence across the team.

Required For This Opportunity

• Strong proficiency with C#, .NET, data structures, basic algorithms, and applying object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles of software development, data modelling, and security (e.g. OWASP Top 10).
• Strong proficiency with development tools such as Visual Studio / VS Code and Git.
• Proficiency with relational databases design and query construction and optimization with MS SQL and/or Progress SQL.
• Experience building Web applications with technologies such as Angular, React, or ASP.NET. React Preferred.
• Experience developing efficient and scalable RESTful based APIs with OAuth or OpenID Connect authentication.
• Experience with Object-Relational tools such as Entity Framework, EF Core, Dapper, or NHibernate.
• Experience implementing unit and integration tests with NUnit, xUnit, MS Test, Selenium or similar.
• The candidate for this position must have the ability to effectively participate in peer code reviews and pull requests, both as the reviewer and the reviewee.
• The candidate for this position must have experience working on an agile team using agile methodologies and frameworks.
• The candidate for this position must have effective communications skills both written and verbal.
• The candidate must be self-motivated to know the latest in development technologies, tools, and approaches and a desire to share this knowledge within teams and the broader organization.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, specifically GitHub Copilot
• Experience integrating automation test code into CI/CD pipeline processes.
• Experience with API Management Tools and performance monitoring.
• Experience with event driven architecture.
• Experience with Azure, specifically service bus or event grid.
• Previous insurance industry experience is preferred. The ideal candidate has underwriting or reinsurance domain knowledge.
