Job Description – Key Account Manager – E-commerce

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager – E-commerce to manage and grow the Amazon and Flipkart business. The role will focus on sales growth, profitability, Joint Business Planning (JBP), marketplace operations, promotions, assortment, digital shelf and account development.

Key Responsibilities

• Own sales, revenue, profitability and market share targets for Amazon and Flipkart.
  
• Develop and execute annual/quarterly business plans and JBP with platform teams.
  
• Manage commercial negotiations, trade investments and promotional activities.
  
• Drive assortment expansion, new product launches and platform visibility.
  
• Manage marketplace operations including catalogue, content, pricing, Buy Box and digital shelf.
  
• Drive promotional campaigns such as Prime Day, Great Indian Festival and Big Billion Days.
  
• Monitor inventory, forecasting, fill rates, stock availability and fulfilment.
  
• Analyze sales, category, pricing and competitor performance to identify growth opportunities.
  
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, Demand Planning and Customer Service teams.
  
• Prepare regular business reviews, performance reports and growth plans.
  

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in E-commerce / Modern Trade / FMCG / Consumer Goods / Retail.
  
• Proven experience managing Amazon and/or Flipkart accounts.
  
• Experience with Amazon Vendor/Seller Central and Flipkart Seller Hub preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of Key Account Management, JBP, commercial negotiations and marketplace operations.
  
• Strong analytical skills with Advanced Excel and data analysis.
  
• MBA/PGDM preferred.
  
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
