Knime Developer C10 (3-5 yrs) Pune

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Purpose

We are looking to bring in Application Developer under Finanace Technology, to help the implementation of next generation Digital Automation Platform using Knime , Appian, Python technologies. Candidate is required to possess relevant design and development experience in process automation using BPM or RPA or low code automation tools with experience on multiformat data processing. Candidate should be a strong team player. Exposure to Retail Banking products or Wholesale/Investment banking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, development and implementation of process automation use cases using Knime / Appian / Python / inhouse frameworks
• Requirement analysis including interaction with Business Users 
• Participate with BAs in requirements analysis sessions and provide technical feasibility analysis and approach of the requirements to the team
• Unit testing of the program under development
• Participate in SIT / UAT defect triage call
• Bug fixing
• Participate in demo to the business users during UAT and Preprod together with BA and UAT testers

Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects

• Responsible for the creation of high level designs to guide implementation faithful to architecture intent
• Ensure that application development and enhancement is in line with Citi’s Coding Standards.
• Solves / works a variety of high impact, high-profile problems / projects with considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
• Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of applications programming.
• Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery.
• Learn new technologies used in the projects
• Work in development or BAU teams

Must Have Skills:

• 3 - 5 years of overall experience, atleast 1 years in knime.
• Handson experience in developing excel, csv & database based use cases via knime workflows.
• Good knowledge on excel basics , eg pivots, excel formulaes.
• Preferred experience in Knime Analytics platform 4.5.1 & higher, Knime server version 4.16.
• Ability to understand existing knime workflows & work on enhancing the same.
• Good to have some python experience in excel based frameworks libraries

• Pandas/Nump/openpyxl,aspose etc to be used along with knime.

• Knowledge of RestApi, JSON.
• Ability to work in an individual capacity & help team when required.
• Creating design documents for knime workflows mapping requirements & the develop knime solution.
• Good communication skills.
• Good to have but not necessary skills (Tableau, Appian, Python).
• Flexibility to learn & adapt to other technologies & Citi based custom frameworks.
• Knime L2 Certified professional preferred.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience using ALM and CICD tools like Bitbucket, TFS, Jenkins, BMC RLM or related tools in an agile methodology.
• Experience in SCMs like GIT; and tools like JIRA
• Experienced with automated build and test processes

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
