Job Description - Korean Translator & Interpreter

Company Profile:
The Hyosung T&D India Pvt. Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hyosung Heavy Industries Corporation, Korea. It was established in the Year 2015 under Make In India scheme and by stepping and gaining amazing experiences from heavy industries Corporation for manufacturing, research, development, technology, and marketing of HV & EHV Gas Insulated Switchgear and STATCOM.

Roles and Responsibilities:
       
  • Translate documents, emails, reports, and presentations between Korean and English with accuracy.
  • Provide interpretation support during meetings, business discussions, and conferences.
  • Coordinate meetings between Korean and Indian teams and facilitate effective communication.
  • Prepare meeting minutes (MoM) and maintain translation records.
  • Support cross -functional teams with language assistance and communication.
  • Assist Korean expatriates in day -to -day business communication.
  • Ensure confidentiality while handling business documents and information.
  • Support smooth collaboration by bridging language and cultural differences.


  • Requirements

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • TOPIK Level 5/6 or equivalent Korean language certification (Preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Korean translation and interpretation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English.
  • Knowledge of Marathi and English will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment will be preferred.
