Job Description - L1.5 Compute Engineer

We are hiring an L1.5 Compute Engineer to join the Hewlett Packard Enterprise team in Pune. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues on HPE Compute products including ProLiant and Synergy Servers, C7000 Blade Enclosures, and Direct Attach Storage systems.

The engineer will also handle basic troubleshooting of SAN Switches and Host Bus Adapters, work on performance and host connectivity issues, and provide leadership in technical problem management. Close collaboration with end customers, HPE remote and field support staff is a key part of this role.

Additional responsibilities include knowledge creation and management, delivering internal training and tech -share sessions, participating in after -hours remote support rosters, and contributing to team decision -making processes.

Shift: 24x7 rotational environment

Location: Pune

Salary: ₹10–11 LPA

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in IT infrastructure or technical support

• Hands -on knowledge of HPE ProLiant and Synergy servers (Synergy experience is a strong advantage)

• Excellent knowledge of HPE OneView, Operating Systems (Windows/Linux), Virtualization (VMware/Hyper -V) and Networking

• Good understanding of Compute and Direct Attach Storage (DAS)

• Basic troubleshooting knowledge of SAN Switches and Host Bus Adapters (HBA)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to lead resolution activities with escalated customers

• Ability to mentor new agents and contribute to technical action plans

• Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment

• Education: BE / BTech in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics
