Job Description - Lab Instructor (Science)

Role Summary:

The Lab Instructor supports science teaching by maintaining laboratories, assisting experiments, and ensuring safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare laboratory equipment and materials for experiments
Assist teachers and students during practical sessions
Maintain lab cleanliness, inventory, and records
Ensure safety guidelines and procedures are followed
Calibrate and store scientific instruments properly
Support demonstrations and science exhibitions
Dispose of chemicals and waste safely
Report equipment damage or shortages

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology)
Lab handling experience preferred
Knowledge of lab safety and procedures
Attention to detail and organizational skills
