We are seeking an experienced Land Acquisition Manager to lead end-to-end land acquisition activities for strategic business expansion and project development. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in land identification, due diligence, stakeholder negotiations, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will play a critical role in identifying suitable land parcels, securing acquisitions, and ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently while meeting legal, commercial, and organizational objectives.

As a Land Acquisition Manager, you will collaborate with legal, engineering, finance, project, and government authorities to manage the complete acquisition lifecycle—from site identification and feasibility assessment to negotiation, documentation, and transaction closure. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple acquisition opportunities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suitable land parcels based on project requirements, commercial viability, and strategic objectives.
• Conduct site visits, market research, and feasibility assessments to support acquisition decisions.
• Lead negotiations with landowners, developers, brokers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable acquisition terms.
• Coordinate legal due diligence, title verification, ownership validation, and regulatory compliance before finalizing acquisitions.
• Liaise with government departments, local authorities, and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and clearances.
• Prepare acquisition proposals, valuation reports, financial analyses, and documentation for management review and approvals.
• Manage the complete land acquisition lifecycle, including agreements, registrations, documentation, and transaction closure.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, engineering, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution after acquisition.
• Monitor land market trends, pricing, competitor activity, and emerging development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of acquisition activities, contracts, approvals, and project documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 4+ years of experience in Land Acquisition, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Industrial Development, or related sectors.
• Proven expertise in identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and acquiring land parcels for business or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of land acquisition processes, property laws, title verification, registration procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience coordinating with government authorities, local bodies, legal advisors, and external stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to assess land feasibility, valuation, and project viability.
• Experience preparing acquisition documentation, contracts, reports, and management presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple acquisition projects while meeting timelines and business objectives.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a high level of ownership and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with GIS tools, land records systems, or property management software is an added advantage.
