This position is responsible for preparing steady state & dynamic simulation models and perform detailed analysis for Power plant Systems and Equipment.

 This role will be a member of the AUX India Fluid System Engineering team.
The position will be based in Gurgaon, India, in the global acting challenging technical environment in the AUX Fluid Systems department. The Fluid Systems department works across multiple locations. Majority of the tasks will be in Engineering but also site support.

Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:

• Preparation of 1-D flow models in AFT Arrow and AFT Fathom to perform steady state simulation of Gas Turbine auxiliary systems like Fuel gas, Fuel oil, Secondary air system, Lube oil, etc.
• Perform Transient simulation/ Surge Analysis for liquid and gas systems using software like AFT Impulse and AFT Xstream.
• Perform review of modeling and analysis done by fellow engineers.
• Validation and testing of simulation model with actual site data/ pilot test data
• Understand analysis results and present them in a lucid manner to Stakeholders
• Conducting status meetings and discussions with various Project Stakeholders.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

• Bachelor/Masters in Mechanical Engineering or other comparable degree
• 5 to 10 years of relevant engineering work experience
• Experience in performing Engineering simulations for Power plant processes/ systems
• Experience in AFT Arrow, Fathom, Impulse, xStream, Pipenet, FluidFlow, etc.
• Experience in CFD (Ansys Fluent/ StarCCM+) is a plus
• Excellent collaborator to support and serve the global team
• High flexibility in taking new tasks/responsibilities
• Excellent communication skills, Excellent English language skills
• Strong dedication to the product and willingness to own it
• Solid understanding about the interactions of quality, costs and delivery time.
