Lead AI Engineer (Contract 6-9 Months)

Job purpose:

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI/ML and Generative AI solutions to solve complex business problems. The position focuses on building scalable machine learning models and pipelines while enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Core responsibilities:

• Perform advanced data analysis using statistical methods and machine learning techniques


• Conduct exploratory data analysis to derive insights and inform Modeling strategies


• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models for real-world applications


• Build scalable ML pipelines and workflows for production environments


• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into data-driven solutions


• Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences


• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices within the team


• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and apply them to improve solutions


• Ensure model performance through proper evaluation, validation, and optimization


• Contribute to identifying new business opportunities leveraging AI/ML/GenAI


• Other duties as assigned.

Required experience and skills:

• 6–8 years of experience in AI/ML/Gen AI engineering


• Strong proficiency in Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow)


• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)


• Hands-on experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow)


• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP)


• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms


• Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation


• Familiarity with version control systems (GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines


• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills


• Ability to develop innovative data-driven solution


• Experience in ERP or Supply Chain domain is preferred


• Experience identifying business use cases for AI/ML/GenAI and building relevant models is preferred


• Business-level English proficiency (written and verbal) required.
