Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Lead AI Solutions Architect to be a cornerstone of our technical team. As a foundational hire, you will own the technical design and delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions for our enterprise clients. You will be our go-to expert for turning complex business challenges into robust, scalable AI systems.

This role is perfect for a senior technologist who thrives on building new things, enjoys mentoring others, and is passionate about seeing their architectural vision come to life in real-world applications. You will operate at the intersection of high-level strategy, deep-dive architecture, and client-facing leadership.

What You'll Achieve

• Architect & Deliver Client Solutions: You will lead the design of end-to-end AI systems, from LLM-powered agents and RAG knowledge bases to predictive analytics pipelines. You'll work directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver proof-of-concept pilots that demonstrate clear business value.
  
  
  
  


• Establish Technical Foundations: You will be instrumental in shaping  FIO Labs technology standards. You'll evaluate and select our core AI tool chain, including cloud infrastructure, MLOps practices, and orchestration frameworks, ensuring our solutions are built for scale and maintainability.
  
  
  
  


• Lead & Mentor the AI Team: As an early leader, you will act as a technical mentor for our growing team of engineers. You will champion best practices in coding, architecture, and MLOps, and you will play a key role in helping us attract and hire top-tier talent.
  
  
  
  


• Drive AI Innovation: You will keep FIO Labs at the forefront of the AI landscape. You'll research emerging technologies in LLMs, multi modal AI, and MLOps, and translate them into pragmatic and innovative solutions for our clients.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

We are looking for a leader with a strong bias for action and a passion for building. While we have a detailed list of technologies we work with, we are more interested in your architectural mindset and your proven ability to deliver.

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a significant focus on building and deploying AI/ML solutions in an enterprise setting.
  
  
  
  


• A proven track record of leading the technical lifecycle of a project, from concept and design to deployment and iteration.
  
  
  
  

Core Technical Skills:

• AI/ML Development: Strong proficiency in Python and deep familiarity with modern AI paradigms, especially building RAG systems using LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
  
  
  
  


• AI Architecture: Solid experience designing scalable, cloud-native solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP). You are comfortable with concepts like microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and building robust APIs.
  
  
  
  


• Agents & Agentic Patterns: Experience designing, building, and integrating AI Agents and agentic workflows; familiarity with agent-to-agent (A2A) interactions, Model Context Protocol (MCP) principles, and orchestrating workflows via N8N.
  
  
  
  


• MLOps: Practical experience in building or managing automated pipelines for model deployment, monitoring, and retraining (e.g., using tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, or cloud-native services).
  
  
  
  


• Data & Infrastructure: Understanding of data engineering principles and experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, PGVector).
  
  
  
  

Leadership & Business Acumen:

• An excellent communicator who can bridge the gap between technical teams and executive stakeholders, translating complex AI concepts into clear business value.
  
  
  
  


• A collaborative leader with experience mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
