Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.\n\nCandidates who have the relevant skills and 5 to 7 years of experience are encouraged to apply.\n\nJob Description : (PDN Sign off Lead/Sr Engineer)\n\n * IR Signoff CPU/high performance cores\n\n * Signal EM \u0026 Power EM Signoff for Chip TOP level \u0026 Block level CPU/DSP and other HM\u2019s\n\n * Development of PG Grid spec for different HM\n\n * Validating the PG Grid using Grid Resistance \u0026 Secondary PG Resistance Checks\n\n * Validating the IR Drops using Static IR , Dynamic IR Vless \u0026 VCD Checks for validating Die \u0026 Pkg Components of IR Drops\n\n * Working with SOC and Packaging Teams on Bumps Assignments / RDL Enablement / Pkg Routing Optimizations to improve overall PDN Design\n\n * Good knowledge on PD would is desirable.\n\n * Python , Perl , TCL\n\n\n\n\nSkill Set\n\n * Hands on experience in PDN Signoff using Redhawk / RHSC / Voltus at block level / SOC Level.\n\n * Good understanding on Power Integrity Signoff Checks.\n\n * Proficient in scripting languages (Tcl and Perl).\n\n * Familiarity with Innovus for RDL / Bump Planning.\n\n * Ability to communicate effectively with multiple global cross-functional teams.\n\n * Tools : Redhawk , Redhawk_SC and basic use case of Innovus/ Fusion Compiler\n\n * Power Planning/Floorplanning ,Physical Verification hands on experience is added advantage.\n\n * LSF /compute optimization understanding.\n\n\n\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
