We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Lead Designer with 4+ years of proven expertise in design to join our dynamic team. This role requires a professional who can seamlessly blend creativity, strategy, and leadership to deliver impactful design solutions. As the Lead Designer, you will be responsible for shaping the visual identity of our products, guiding the design team, and ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation across all design projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the design process from concept to delivery, ensuring all outputs meet business goals and user needs.
• Define and maintain design systems, style guides, and visual standards to ensure brand consistency.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align design direction with strategic objectives.
• Conduct design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of creativity and excellence within the team.

Creative Execution

• Create visually stunning and user-centric designs for web, mobile, and digital platforms.
• Translate business requirements and user research into intuitive and functional design solutions.
• Use tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Sketch to produce wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
• Innovate on design trends and best practices, introducing fresh approaches to elevate the user experience.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

• Lead, mentor, and inspire junior designers, ensuring their professional growth and skill development.
• Collaborate across functions, including engineering, marketing, and product teams, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Act as the design point of contact for stakeholders, effectively communicating design decisions and their rationale.

User Experience & Research

• Apply user-centered design principles to create seamless, accessible, and engaging experiences.
• Partner with UX researchers to conduct usability testing, user interviews, and feedback sessions.
• Iterate designs based on data insights, user behavior, and stakeholder feedback.
• Ensure accessibility standards and best practices are incorporated into design outputs.

Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing digital design projects.
• Proven experience in leading design initiatives, preferably in a product or digital-first company.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Ability to balance creativity with functionality and business objectives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in mentoring or managing designers is highly desirable.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or certifications in advanced design practices will be a plus.
