Roles and Responsibilities
Lead Model Development Lifecycle: Drive the creation, adjustment, validation, and application of thermodynamic cycle models for Aeroderivative gas turbines using NPSS and associated tools.
Develop and Refine Operability Models: Manage the lifecycle for operability models, including emissions, fuel flexibility, and control aspects, ensuring models reflect operational realities.
Test Plan Development & Field Support: Define and develop engineering test plans, supporting field tests to gather data that drives improvements in both performance and operability models.
Field Data Integration & Model Validation: Lead the data reduction and status-matching of cycle models (steady state and transient) to various data sources.
Technical Leadership: Act as a performance and operability technical expert for Aeroderivative gas turbines.
Enable Automation & Tool Development: Build APIs, scripts, and tools using Python, VBA, AI, and NPSS that connect our modeling ecosystem, unlock AI/ML capabilities, and streamline team operations
