## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe successful candidate will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of advanced automation solutions across manufacturing and industrial operations. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in automation technologies, control systems, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will work as lead with cross-functional team, driving innovation, and ensure seamless integration of automation solutions to enhance productivity, safety, and efficiency.\n\n\u2022 Lead automation projects for end-to-end execution of industrial automation initiatives, from concept to commissioning \n\u2022 Architect detailed requirements, mechanical design and development to implement tailored solutions to operational needs \n\u2022 Analyze workflows and identify automation opportunities to improve throughput and reduce downtime \n\u2022 Collaborate with equipment suppliers and system integrators to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery \n\u2022 Manage and mentor a team of automation engineers and technicians \n\u2022 Ensure all automation systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations \n\u2022 Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematics, SOPs, and validation protocols \n\u2022 Provide expert-level support for diagnosing and resolving automation-related issues \n\u2022 Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend upgrades to existing systems.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBachelor\u0027s or Master\u2019s Degree (ME) in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering\n\n7+ years industrial experience working with line automation solutions development and commissioning\n\n## Skills:\n\n\u2022 Deep knowledge in mechanical design and development of line or cell automation (Manufacturing Cell Design, Robot Cell Mechanical Design, End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT), Conveyor System Design, Part Nest \u0026 Fixture Design, Sensor \u0026 Actuator Integration, Safety Guarding \u0026 Interlocks) \n\u2022 Deep knowledge in Prototype Development, Scalability \u0026 Expandability Design, Preliminary Design Review \u0026 Critical Design Review \n\u2022 Good understanding of standards, ISO 12100, ISO 14120 / 13857, ISO 13849 / IEC 62061, ISO 10218 / TS 15066, ASME B15 / B20 \n\u2022 Hands on experience with advance 3D CAD modeling \u0026 parametric design \n\u2022 Exposure to simulations or virtual validation of concepts \n\u2022 Broader knowledge of electrical and instrumentation design, PLC programming, SCADA, HMI customization \u0026 integration \n\u2022 Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP). \n\u2022 Familiarity with robotics integration and motion control systems. \n\u2022 Understanding of Industrial IoT (IIoT) and smart manufacturing concepts \n\u2022 Ability to perform system validation and FAT/SAT testing \n\u2022 Experience with data acquisition and analytics platforms. \n\u2022 Experience in working with Industry best / Eaton preferred hardware vendors (FANUC, KUKA, MIR, ABB, Omron, UR, etc.)\n
