Job Description - Lead Engineer - Industrialisation
## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Lead Engineer \u2013 Industrialisation is responsible for leading manufacturing process industrialisation and quality integration to ensure products and processes are safe, capable, repeatable, and production-ready. This role provides technical and people leadership across Manufacturing Engineering and Quality, ensuring robust process design, validation, and standardization from engineering release through sustained production. \n\n * Lead industrialisation of manufacturing processes, production lines, tooling, and workstations.\n * Define and approve manufacturing routings, standard work, work instructions, layouts, and tooling concepts.\n * Drive DFMA, line balancing, capacity analysis, and process simplification initiatives.\n * Ensure alignment of EBOM, MBOM, and SBOM.\n * Support production ramp-ups, engineering changes, and process stabilization.\n * Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and customer requirements.\n * Lead PFMEA, Control Plans, capability studies, and process validation.\n * Address process-related non-conformances, scrap, and rework.\n * Embed error-proofing, standard work, and visual management.\n * Drive structured problem solving using A3 and 8D.\n * Lead and develop Manufacturing / Industrialisation Engineers.\n * Establish engineering standards and best practices.\n * Promote a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequirement:\n\n * Masters / Bachelors in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical or electrical engineering\n * Minimum 12+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; 5+ years of Industrialisation experience would be preferred\n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Candidates having valid US Visa(B1/B2) will be an added advantage\n * Demonstrated expertise in DFMA to drive manufacturability, cost efficiency, and robust process design\n * Strong experience in PFMEA and risk\u2011based process planning to ensure high\u2011reliability manufacturing\n * Proven ability to optimize production flow through advanced line\u2011balancing and capacity analysis\n * Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems with hands\u2011on experience ensuring compliance in manufacturing environments\n * Strong capability in structured problem solving using A3 and 8D methodologies to drive continuous improvement\n * Team player, ability to get things done through teams effectively\n * Managerial courage - doesn\u2019t hold back that needs to be said; provides positive \u0026 corrective feedback\n * Decision quality - makes good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment\n * Business acumen - knows how business work; knowledgeable in current and possible future technologies\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n * Position requires 40% travel ( both domestic \u0026 International )\n\n\n
