Lead Engineer - PLM

What you’ll do:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to lead our PLM transformation project. This role is critical in driving the successful implementation and integration of PLM systems across our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, project management, and PLM systems.

•    Lead the end-to-end PLM transformation project, including planning, Requirements gathering, execution, and Business Readiness.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives and requirements.
•    To work with various stakeholders and align divisional processes into one Eaton enterprise level process and standard. 
•    Design and implement PLM solutions that enhance product development processes and data management.
•    Provide technical expertise and guidance on PLM best practices and industry standards.
•    Adhere to project timelines and ensure successful project completion.
•    Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members on new PLM systems and processes.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to PLM systems and integrations process flows with ERP and MRPs systems like SAP, Oracle and MfgPro etc.. This role needs to work very closely with Enovia IT team for any technical issues and its resolutions.
•    Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in PLM technologies.
 

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or a related field.
•    8 to 15 years of experience in engineering process management and PLM systems.
 

Skills:

•    Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex PLM functional solutions.
•    Experience with Industrial, manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace domains preferred.
•    Proven track record of facilitating the discussion in global forums to obtain consensus on common and standard functional PLM process and solutions. 
•    Strong knowledge of 3DS Enovia software: 3DExperience / ENOVIA, worked on Unified Product Structure and latest technologies. 
•    Expertise on different CAD systems like CATIA, Creo, NX, Autodesk and their integration with 3DS Enovia
•    Cross collaboration with different ENG, MFG, SCM stakeholders to understand and collect the requirements and work with IT team to deliver the functional solutions. 
•    Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
