## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm India Private Limited\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e Software Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\n### Required Qualifications\n\n * ### Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.\n\n * ### 3+ years of experience in embedded software/firmware development, with significant focus on Wi\u2011Fi or other wireless technologies.\n\n * ### Strong proficiency in C for embedded systems; good understanding of real\u2011time constraints, memory/performance optimization.\n\n * ### Solid knowledge of 802.11 protocols and Wi\u2011Fi stack (MAC state machines, management/control frames, scanning, association, roaming, security, QoS).\n\n * ### Experience with RTOS or bare\u2011metal firmware on SoCs / MCUs.\n\n * ### Experience debugging low\u2011level firmware issues with tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and internal debug logs.\n\n * ### Strong understanding of:\n\n * ### Interrupt handling, DMA, timers, power management.\n\n * ### Hardware\u2013software interfaces, register programming, and driver/firmware interaction.\n\n * ### Proven ability to own features independently and drive complex issues to closure.\n\n\n\n\n### Preferred / Nice\u2011to\u2011Have\n\n * ### Experience with advanced Wi\u2011Fi features:\n\n * ### 802.11ax/11be (OFDMA, MU\u2011MIMO, TWT, MLO, spatial reuse).\n\n * ### Dual\u2011band simultaneous (DBS), multi\u2011band operations (MBO), advanced roaming.\n\n * ### Experience with coexistence (Wi\u2011Fi/BT/LTE/UWB) algorithms.\n\n * ### Familiarity with Linux Wi\u2011Fi host drivers (e.g., qcacld/ath11k/etc.) and host\u2013firmware interfaces (WMI/HTT or similar).\n\n * ### Experience in power optimization for battery\u2011operated/IoT devices.\n\n * ### Exposure to customer\u2011facing bring\u2011up, field issue debug, or interoperability testing.\n\n * ### Contributions to Wi\u2011Fi standards, open\u2011source drivers, or internal architecture frameworks.\n\n * ### Strong communication skills and prior experience as a technical lead / mentor.\n\n\n\n\n### \n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. \n \n\u2022 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
