Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software that powers Ninja Van’s complex logistics operations.
- Take ownership of architecture and implementation for major features, modules, and end-to-end products.
- Manage and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of APIs, ensuring seamless integration with third-party services where required.
- Ensure applications meet standards of performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
- Guide the team in troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing existing systems.
- Promote engineering best practices by encouraging clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Facilitate and participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
- Stay updated on emerging tools, frameworks, and industry best practices, and drive their adoption where beneficial.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of industry experience in software development is required.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- At least 2 years of experience in leading/managing engineering teams is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries like React.js and TypeScript.
- Solid back-end development expertise using Java or Golang (Golang preferred).
- Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to drive collaboration across teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required.
