first SyncFused OptoSAR satellite that is designed to deliver all -weather,
day -and -night imagery from space. Founded in 2021 by engineers from IIT Madras,
the company’s flagship Mission Drishti sync -fuses optical and Synthetic
Aperture Radar (SAR) data on a single satellite to unlock a new standard of
geospatial intelligence for governments, defence, and enterprises
globally.

sensing, AI, and advanced imaging to help customers solve high -stakes problems
across use cases such as defence and security, disaster response,
infrastructure monitoring, agriculture, and financial services. The team is

Role Summary
GalaxEye Space is seeking a Finance & Strategy professional who
combines financial discipline with strategic thinking. The role will work
closely with the CEO and business verticals to drive financial visibility,
business planning, and the evaluation of emerging business opportunities.
This is a high -ownership role designed for someone who understands
financial operations but also can connect numbers to strategic decision -making.
The individual will play a key role in strengthening financial processes,
enabling proactive reporting, and supporting the company’s growth initiatives.
Over time, the role is expected to evolve into a broader leadership
position within the finance function, with increasing responsibility across
financial operations, planning, and business strategy.
Responsibilities
Financial planning and
performance monitoring
- Support the development and periodic review of
company business plans, budgeting and forecasts.
- Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis
to support strategic decision -making.
- Track performance against business plans and
highlight risks, variances, and opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and reports that provide
actionable insights for the CEO & business heads.
CEO and Cross -Functional
Business Support
- Partner with vertical heads to understand
operational priorities and translate them into financial plans and
opportunities.
- Provide financial insights to support resource allocation, pricing, and operational decisions.
- Act as a bridge between finance and operational teams to improve financial awareness across the organization.
- Participate in leadership discussions and business reviews with the CEO.
- Prepare briefing notes, financial summaries, and analysis for strategic meetings.
- Track key initiatives and ensure alignment between strategic decisions and financial outcomes.
Treasury Management
- Manage the relationship with the corporate treasury
partner to maximize yields on fund deployment.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and daily liquidity
planning to ensure sufficient operational funding.
- Identify and manage financial risks including FX,
interest rate, and commodity exposures through hedging strategies.
Financial Operations
- Review MIS reports for accuracy and insights to
support decision -making and performance tracking.
- Support in drafting finance processes SOPs following
best practices.
- Collaborate with the finance team to strengthen
systems, processes, and operational efficiency
Qualifications & Growth Path
Educational
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics,
Accounting, Business, or Engineering.
Professional qualifications such as CA / CFA / CPA or
MBA (Finance/Strategy) or are advantageous but not mandatory.
Professional
Experience
· 2 -4 years of experience in finance roles such
as:
- Business finance
- Financial planning
& analysis
- Finance operations
- Finance generalist

· Consulting or startup finance roles
· Experience working in high -growth startups,
consulting firms, or technology organizations is preferred.
