Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and operationally driven Lead – HR Analytics and Operations to own and enhance our people analytics, HR operations, workforce planning, and process automation capabilities. This role will serve as a key partner to HR leadership, Finance, and business stakeholders by providing actionable workforce insights, ensuring operational excellence, and driving automation initiatives that improve efficiency and decision-making.
The ideal candidate combines strong HR operations expertise with advanced analytics capabilities and a passion for leveraging technology and automation to build scalable people processes.
Key Responsibilities
HR Analytics & Workforce Insights
- Own and manage HR reporting and analytics, including headcount tracking, hiring pipelines, attrition trends, workforce planning, and talent metrics.
- Develop and maintain executive-ready dashboards and data packs for monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
- Analyze workforce trends, attrition patterns, talent density metrics, and organizational effectiveness indicators to provide actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Finance to track workforce costs, headcount budgets, and people-related financial metrics.
- Build predictive and forward-looking people analytics dashboards that support strategic workforce decisions.
- Monitor employer branding and employee sentiment metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on insights.
HR Operations Excellence
- Lead end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle management, HRMS administration, and data governance.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all HR systems and records.
- Manage HR operations processes, service levels, and operational controls to deliver a seamless employee experience.
- Establish, document, and continuously improve HR operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Oversee HRMS administration and ensure timely updates to employee records and organizational data.
- Lead and mentor HR Operations team members, setting clear performance expectations and service standards.
Process Automation & Technology Enablement
- Identify opportunities to automate HR processes through AI, workflow automation, scripting, and technology solutions.
- Drive adoption of automation-first and analytics-first practices within the HR function.
- Evaluate and implement HR technology tools, integrations, and process enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
- Measure and report the impact of automation initiatives through productivity and efficiency metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary HR partner for Finance on workforce planning, budgeting, and people cost reporting.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide proactive workforce insights and talent intelligence.
- Support leadership with board-ready and executive-level HR reports, presentations, and strategic workforce analysis.
- Ensure alignment between business growth plans, hiring strategies, and workforce capacity requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 7–12 years of experience in HR Operations, People Analytics, Workforce Planning, or HR Shared Services.
- Proven experience building and managing HR analytics frameworks, dashboards, and reporting architectures.
- Strong hands-on experience with HRMS platforms; experience with Darwinbox is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of workforce planning, attrition analysis, headcount management, talent analytics, and workforce cost modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and validate complex workforce data.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with experience presenting insights to senior leadership.
- Ability to operate effectively in dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environments.
