We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer / Lead Engineer with strong expertise in Security Operations (SecOps) to design, develop, and implement advanced security-centric solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role demands hands-on proficiency with both out-of-the-box (OOB) and custom SecOps functionalities, coupled with the ability to build workflows, integrations, and catalog items that enhance security operations. As a lead, you will also mentor team members, contribute to best practices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of ServiceNow SecOps modules, including:
• Security Incident Response (SIR)
• Vulnerability Response (VR)
• Threat Intelligence (TI)
• Develop and customize Service Catalog items with dynamic forms, workflows, and automation.
• Configure, optimize, and enhance OOB SecOps functionalities; build custom components where required.
• Collaborate with SOC teams, security analysts, and business stakeholders to define and refine technical requirements.
• Write and maintain client-side and server-side scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Scheduled Jobs).
• Design and implement REST/SOAP integrations with third-party security tools and platforms.
• Enforce secure development practices, RBAC, and ACLs while adhering to platform governance.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum development processes, providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.
• Document solutions, configurations, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and audit readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on expertise with ServiceNow SecOps modules (SIR, VR, TI).
• Strong scripting skills using JavaScript (client/server), including Business Rules, Script Includes, etc.
• Experience building/customizing workflows & catalog items (Flow Designer / Workflow Editor).
• Proficiency with REST and SOAP integrations for external security tools.
• Skilled in RBAC, ACLs, and secure coding practices.
• Familiar with Scoped Application development, update sets, and lifecycle management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SecOps.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII, CVSS, NVD frameworks/standards.
• Experience integrating security tools such as Tenable, Qualys, Splunk, CrowdStrike, etc.

Role Proficiency

• Apply creative and optimized technical solutions, leveraging design patterns and reusable components.
• Drive module-level delivery, defect management, estimation, release, and customer interaction.
• Guide and mentor team members, supporting project execution and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Engage with customers to clarify requirements, present design options, and conduct product demos.
  Contribute to design (HLD/LLD/SAD), architecture, and domain-specific improvements.
