About myNachiketa:

myNachiketa Foundation is inspired by Nachiketa, a character in the Upanishads, who asks philosophical questions to Yama in his childhood. 

myNachiketa seeks to build a D2C brand that develops products to bring the knowledge of Gita & Upanishads to children. Children do not know ideas of Hindu Philosophy, which may be easily amenable to them through stories, metaphors and demos. We are designing innovative products including videos, courses, books, games, workshops, etc., and bringing them to the masses through various channels. Our method is to encourage kids to question and think of various ways of arriving at answers, rather than developing a regimented thought process. Our goal is to rapidly grow into the market and reach every child in India between the age of 0-14 and gradually target all the kids in the world. We believe we have a unique opportunity since there is no large brand for Hinduism for kids right now.

About the role: Lead - International Business

As a Lead - International Business, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the senior leadership team and will play a pivotal role in driving myNachiketa global expansion. You will be responsible for developing and executing product and marketing plans to increase brand awareness in countries like the US, UK, Singapore, Australia, Southeast Asia, etc. This shall include website streamlining, growth hacking, lead generation, and securing new business partnerships in assigned international markets like schools, clubs, associations etc..

  Responsibilities:

  • Lead the establishment and expansion of myNachiketa's presence in key international markets. This will involve working closely with founders on strategy & planning and making business plan 
  • Develop and execute product strategy, comprehensive marketing plans tailored to each target market, driving brand awareness and engagement through various channels.
  • Proactively identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with Indian schools based internationally, clubs, associations, and other relevant entities to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth
  • Engage with potential customers to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points, and gather feedback on our products and services to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Take ownership of revenue for the international business segment, analyzing financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing measures to maximize profitability
  • Lead the logistical aspects of our international operations, ensuring efficient warehousing and distribution processes to meet customer demand and optimize inventory management

What are we looking for:

  • Recent MBA or equivalent from top B-schools
  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans. Experience developing and executing business strategies in a fast paced environment is preferred.
  • Past experience in product/marketing/sales in a startup environment working is a plus. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Skilled in networking and building relationships with potential customers & other stakeholders
  • High motivation and ability to work independently
