Lead Java Developer

About the Role

WebBee Global is looking for an experienced Java Architect / Lead Java Backend Developer to drive the design, architecture, and development of scalable SaaS integration platforms. The role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on coding expertise, and the ability to design high-performance backend systems supporting complex e-commerce workflows.

The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, microservices, API integrations, cloud technologies, and enterprise application architecture. The candidate will be responsible for technical decisions, architecture improvements, mentoring engineering teams, and delivering reliable production-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and design scalable backend architecture for SaaS-based integration platforms.
  
• Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural direction.
  
• Develop and review high-quality backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  
• Design microservices, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and integration solutions.
  
• Build systems capable of handling high-volume transactions and complex business workflows.
  
• Review existing architecture and recommend improvements for scalability, performance, and reliability.
  
• Design solutions for e-commerce integrations involving orders, inventory, fulfilment, tracking, and product data.
  
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
  
• Establish engineering best practices for coding standards, security, testing, and deployment.
  
• Mentor senior and junior developers through technical guidance and code reviews.
  
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver reliable solutions.
  
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to engineering processes.
