Position Overview:
We are looking for a Lead Engineer to support and enhance Oracle PIM /APEX applications. The role involves PL/SQL development, production support, performance tuning, and integrating solutions across IT and business teams. Experience with Oracle, AWS/GCP, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide production support and perform defect resolution, performance optimization and address security concerns issues on existing Oracle PIM Application/Oracle APEX Application.
- Timely follow-up on assigned and open tickets within the required SLA.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of Oracle PIM packages/procedures/functions/tables that aid in meeting overall business objectives.
- Partner with IT Architect to develop impactful business solutions to improve sales, revenue, customer experience.
- Interface with Business teams at all organizational levels to collect business requirements, create technical design documents and deliver creative and impactful technical solutions.
- Partners with other members of the development team to ensure that features are built to meet business requirements while also following best practices and standards.
- Responsible for accurately estimating level of effort and timelines for feature development based off defined requirements.
- Work with cross functional project teams to define new project proposals and provide LOE estimates.
- Monitor and maintain production and non-production environments to ensure agreed upon targets for availability and performance are maintained.
- Coordinate with impacted IT, Business Teams, Vendors, and 3rd Party/cloud application support providers to troubleshoot, schedule, execute system upgrades, maintenance activities and/or implement new/changes integrations.
- Work with cross-functional IT Teams to ensure standards for Information Security, SOX, and Disaster Recovery are documented and achieved.
- Creates and executes unit/integration testing scripts, and/or coordinate with IT QA team to complete unit/integration testing for new/modified features.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore application/development teams to ensure seamless support and ensure overall success of the application.
- Participates in disaster recovery in case of disaster situation and supports scheduled annual disaster recovery tests, including maintenance of required documentation and coordination of user participation.
- Share weekly statuses with the Development/Support Team and Leaders
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in computer science or business information technology.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience of PLSQL/SQL development
- Training or Certification in Java, Python, Django, AWS/GCP Cloud Solutions and Oracle MYSQL is an added plus.
- Experience with GraphQL/Rest API tools preferred
- Platform Knowledge in Oracle Retail, AWS (S3, Lambda's, RDS), and GCP
- Previous experience with GitLab/Github source code management solutions and CICD pipelines
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
