Job Description - Lead - Pricing & Commercials

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Develop and support pricing strategies for software and digital solutions that maximize revenue and market share while ensuring competitiveness.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing decisions and identify opportunities for pricing optimization.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create pricing models that support sales initiatives and customer engagement strategies.

  • Analyze pricing performance metrics and provide insights to senior management to drive data-driven decision-making.

  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact pricing strategies and recommend adjustments as necessary.

  • Support sales team in pricing negotiations with key customers and partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and profitability targets.

  • Prepare and present pricing proposals and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Review proposals, RFPs and other bid documents working closely with the pre-sales and delivery teams calling out financial implications and drive deal structuring

  • Work closely with cross functional teams to review contracts and agreements and provide recommendations on clauses that have financial implications



     

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent certification or MBA in Finance

  • 8-10 years of experience in pricing, finance, or business strategy, preferably within the software or technology industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication and influencing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.

  • Proven track record of developing and supporting successful pricing strategies.

Additional Information

The incumbent will play a critical role in developing and supporting pricing strategies that align with the business objectives of the SDS unit. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive positioning. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, delivery and finance leadership, to ensure pricing strategies support the overall growth and profitability of the SDS business.
