Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead SDET to drive the automation strategy across API, Web, and iOS Mobile platforms. This is a technical leadership role responsible for defining frameworks, mentoring engineers, and championing quality across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities
    Define and own the automation strategy, roadmap, and tooling across API, Web, and iOS mobile.
    Architect scalable, reusable, and modular test frameworks from scratch.
    Lead a team of SDETs — provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering excellence.
    Partner with Engineering, Product, and DevOps leaders to embed quality at every stage of SDLC.
    Drive adoption of shift-left testing, TDD/BDD, and continuous testing practices.
    Establish KPIs and metrics for test coverage, automation ROI, defect leakage, and release quality.
    Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and AI-driven testing solutions.
    Own CI/CD test integration, including parallel execution, containerization, and reporting.
    Influence release readiness and act as a quality gatekeeper for production deployments.
Required Skills
    9–12 years of experience in Quality Engineering / SDET, with at least 3+ years in a lead/architect capacity.
    Expert-level programming in Java & Python,Appium or JavaScript/TypeScript.
    Deep expertise in API automation (RestAssured, etc).
    Strong hands-on experience with Web automation (Selenium or Playwright).
    Expertise in framework design, design patterns, and building automation from the ground up.
    Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and mentorship skills.
Nice to Have
    Experience with performance testing (JMeter, k6, Gatling).
    Exposure to AI/ML-based testing tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Applitools, self-healing frameworks, etc).
    Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), Docker, Kubernetes.
    Lead performance, resilience, and chaos testing initiatives.
Education
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
