Lead – (Projects)
What you will be doing?
As a Lead – Projects, you will be responsible for ensuring day -to -day project execution runs smoothly as
per defined plans. You will guide Project Engineers, coordinate with internal stakeholders, ensure quality
in engineering and documentation, and support the Project Manager in delivering projects on time, within
scope, and with zero defects.This role requires hands -on involvement in project execution, technical validation, team coordination, and
customer communication during engineering and commissioning phases.

Project Execution & Coordination
• Lead day -to -day execution activities as per the approved project schedule.
• Monitor task progress, delivery timelines, site readiness, and engineering completion.
• Coordinate across engineering, design, procurement, production, and service teams for smooth
execution.
• Ensure standardization and correctness of logic, drawings, SCADA screens, test plans, and
documentation.
• Support project planning activities with detailed execution inputs.
Technical Leadership
• Validate PLC, SCADA, HMI, MES, or system configurations before deployment.
• Perform audits on logic, communication, and system architecture to ensure compliance with
company standards.
• Troubleshoot system / integration issues during FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
• Conduct acceptance testing with customers as required.
Customer Interaction & Support
• Act as the first contact point for customers during execution and commissioning phases.
• Provide regular progress updates and issue resolutions to maintain customer confidence.
• Escalate major concerns / risks to the Project Manager with actionable inputs.
Team Management & Development
• Allocate daily work to Project Engineers and track tasks to closure.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior team members.
• Identify required training needs and coordinate with the Project Manager for implementation.
• Ensure proper usage of checklists, templates, and company process documents.
Process Compliance & Reporting
• Ensure that all deliverables follow defined ISO/QMS processes.
• Maintain daily execution logs, progress updates, and issue trackers.• Submit consolidated execution status reports to the Project Manager.
• Capture lessons learned and improvement suggestions from each project.
Authority
• Assign and approve day -to -day work to Project Engineers.
• Approve engineering deliverables before forwarding to Project Manager for final release.
• Approve technical design methodologies within agreed project scope.
• Recommend manpower needs and skill development requirements.
• Raise purchase requisitions (PR) recommendations for items needed for engineering and execution.
• Communicate technical documents to customers after Project Manager approval.
What skills and experience you’ll bring to us
Qualifications we are looking for...
• Education: Engineering graduate (Bachelor’s degree in relevant field).
• Experience:
6–8 years of experience in industrial automation Projects/Turnkey Projects.
Experience in leading small project teams and mentoring junior engineers.
• Technical Skills:
â Strong hands -on experience in PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, Drives, Industrial Networking, and
related systems.
â Good understanding of industrial protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus,
ControlNet, DeviceNet, OPC).
â Familiarity with MS Project, MS Visio, MS Office tools.
â Understanding of end -to -end project lifecycle: requirement â design â engineering â
FAT â SAT â commissioning.
