Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement & Feedback: Identify and engage relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including customers, internal teams, and regulatory bodies. Develop communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed, handle escalations swiftly, and incorporate feedback into project decisions. Address risks, conflicts, and prioritize issues with development teams to ensure alignment with project goals.


• Risk Management & Escalation: Effectively manage risks, identify potential threats during design and architecture discussions, and collaborate with project managers to ensure performance testing meets quality benchmarks. Address vulnerabilities and security risks through automated testing, vulnerability scans, and continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines.


• Security Testing & Compliance: Implement automated security tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, and Nessus to identify vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF. Test and ensure compliance with security regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC2. Validate the effectiveness of security controls, including firewalls and encryption, and provide actionable recommendations for risk mitigation.


• Performance Testing & Reporting: Monitor system behaviour during test execution, identifying anomalies and bottlenecks. Conduct vulnerability scanning and risk assessment, ensuring robust security and performance testing. Prepare insightful reports for stakeholders, providing clear updates on quality metrics, risks, and system vulnerabilities.


• Solution & Asset Development: Lead R&D initiatives to innovate and improve product functionality. Develop and maintain internal software solutions and technical assets, such as playbooks and knowledge repositories. Guide teams in solution development, leveraging security and performance best practices.


• Mentorship & Team Management: Lead and mentor junior associates, providing guidance on technical expertise, methodologies, and best practices. Foster a collaborative environment to build team capabilities and promote continuous learning. Oversee team structures, ensuring effective resource allocation and workload distribution.


• Talent Acquisition & Succession Planning: Identify staffing needs and participate in recruitment efforts. Support talent development, ensuring career growth through structured training programs, mentorship, and skill development. Plan for succession in key roles and develop leadership pipelines within the team.


• Continuous Learning & Technical Development: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by staying updated on emerging tools and technologies. Guide teams on secure coding practices and performance testing, encouraging certifications and training opportunities. Stay informed on trends in performance testing and security to adapt and enhance testing methodologies.


• Testing & Automation Expertise: Utilize automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, and JUnit for functional and regression testing. Apply performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling to simulate load conditions and analyze system performance. Contribute to developing custom scripts for scalability and load predictions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).


• Collaboration & Agile Practices: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. Support agile practices, ensuring continuous improvement in the testing and development process. Contribute to team discussions and help resolve defects, ensuring efficient project delivery.
