Role: SAP VIM Consultant

Experience: 6 to 9 years

Location: Pune & Bangalore

SAP Consultant with 6+ years of experience in SAP implementation, support, rollout, and upgrade projects. Specialized expertise in OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) with strong functional knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and solid understanding of SAP MM and FI modules. Skilled in end‑to‑end project execution including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and go‑live support.

Core Competencies

• SAP S/4HANA VIM (Vendor Invoice Management)




• Hands‑on experience with VIM implementation, rollouts, upgrades, testing, and support


• Expertise in VIM 16.3 (minimum experience: VIM 7.5)


• Proficient in configuration of:




• ArchiveLink


• VIM Document Types


• Indexing Screen Enhancements


• Approval Class Enhancements


• Chart of Authority


• Process Types & Process Options




• Strong knowledge of VIM & ICC functionalities


• Experience with custom developments and extensions in VIM




• OpenText Tools & Integrations




• Invoice Capture Center (ICC/BCC)


• OpenText Archive Server


• Enterprise Scan Tools




• Project Responsibilities




• Requirement gathering, business process mapping, and blueprint creation


• System configuration and functional specification preparation


• Unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing


• Test concept preparation including:




• Test items & prerequisites


• Environment setup


• Test phases & scheduling


• Documentation & approval criteria




• End-user training and post–go-live support




• SAP Functional Skills




• Strong hands-on experience in Accounts Payable


• Working knowledge of MM and FI modules




• Professional Skills




• Ability to work independently with effective planning and task breakdown


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Capable of articulating functional requirements and collaborating with cross‑functional teams
