Job Description - Lead Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Autosys job scheduling across multiple environments (Dev, QA, Prod)
  • Design, implement, and optimize batch workflows and automation strategies
  • Monitor job performance, troubleshoot failures, and ensure SLA compliance
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure end-to-end delivery
  • Maintain and enhance Autosys configurations, calendars, and dependencies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in job orchestration and operational efficiency
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Provide leadership in incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Prepare and present service performance reports to senior management
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of accountability and excellence


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Autosys job scheduling\
  • Deep understanding of batch processing, dependencies, and error handling
  • Experience with ITIL processes and service management frameworks
  • Proven track record as a Service Delivery Manager or similar leadership role
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24x7 production environment

Added Advantage: Service Delivery Manager Experience

Candidates with SDM experience bring:

  • Strategic oversight of service performance and client satisfaction
  • Expertise in managing SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics
  • Enhanced ability to align technical execution with business goals
  • Leadership in cross-functional coordination and escalation management
