Quality Management Responsibilities:
The Project Quality & EHS Professional is responsible for ensuring compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements in projects. The role involves implementing management systems, conducting audits, identifying risks, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and legal regulations.
1.Project Quality Planning: Develop and implement Project Quality Plans aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 22163, and customer requirements.
2.Process Audits & Inspections: Conduct internal audits (ISO 9001, VDA 6.3) and supplier audits to ensure adherence to standards.
3.Defect Management: Monitor non-conformances (NCRs) and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
4.Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and 8D Problem-Solving techniques.
5.Supplier & Subcontractor Quality Management: Work closely with vendors to improve their processes, product quality, and compliance.
6.Customer & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure project deliverables meet customer specifications and regulatory compliance (ISO, VDA).
7.Document Control & Reporting: Maintain quality documentation, prepare reports, and support management reviews.
EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) Responsibilities:
1.EHS Compliance: Implement and maintain ISO 14001 (EMS) & ISO 45001 (OHSMS) standards in projects.
2.Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments (HIRA), and drive mitigation actions.
3.Incident Investigation & Reporting: Analyse incidents, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
4.Safety Audits & Inspections: Conduct workplace safety audits, site inspections, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
5.Training & Awareness: Provide safety training on PPE, Work-at-Height, Electrical Safety, Ergonomics, and Emergency Preparedness.
6.Environmental Protection: Monitor waste management, pollution control, and energy conservation initiatives.
7.Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement Emergency Response Plans (ERP) and conduct mock drills.
Your success is grounded in:
1.Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering / science / quality / environmental sciences.
2.Certifications (Preferred):
a.Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 or ISO 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001,
b.Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification.
c.NEBOSH / IOSH Safety Certification.
3.Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Quality, EHS, and Audits in a manufacturing, engineering, or Project environment.
Key Skills & Competencies
1.Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 22163 (IRIS) standards.
2.Experience in process improvement, risk management, and supplier quality development.
3.Proficiency in auditing techniques (Internal & Supplier Audits).
4.Strong knowledge of EHS laws, safety regulations, and environmental compliance.
5.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6.Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
7.Proficiency in MS Office and other Quality & EHS Management tools
