Description:

The Learning Administrator position is the primary point of contact for Wealth Management and the LMS (Learning Management System) support team. The Administrator will coordinate across Wealth Management on Required Training bundles, review progress, coordinate content load to the LMS and lite LMS maintenance.  The individual will help to create a maintenance program for non-required Wealth Management LMS content.  In addition, the individual will prepare reports, analyze data, make decisions around data interpretation and report findings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day processing and lite administrative support of the Learning Management System
  • Manage training bundles and required courses: tracking key milestones, intake of courses, outlining design standards, explaining development requirements and resources to stakeholders, and partnering with vendors
  • Manage new or existing courses and curricula, including the testing, integration, and evaluation of training content that integrate with the LMS
  • Manage Employee Requests: removing/waiving courses, marking courses complete, providing accommodations for learners who can’t complete courses, processing extension requests, transcript lookups, deactivation/archiving courses, maintaining rosters and testing
  • Create course progress and custom reports, including managing proxies, job codes and assignment criteria
  • Ensure training content is SCORM compliant when uploaded to the LMS
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve course issues, including facilitating escalations to the HR Tech team
  • Identify, recommend, and execute on continuous improvements to systems, processes, and tools to enhance learner experience
  • Provide guidance for subject matter experts when considering training assignments and requirements for general learning objectives
  • Drive review of learning objectives with key business areas.
  • Participate in Firm-wide project initiatives to improve training processes and system infrastructure
  • Understand the Morgan Stanley LMS process and train additional individuals as back up     

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education experience required
  • 3-5 years of industry experience preferred
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge working in Cornerstone LMS
  • Working experience with eLearning development tools (examples Articulate, Captivate, Storyline, Rehearsal etc.)
  • Intermediate experience with data management, data management tools, and reporting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Intermediate project management skills and ability to manage and drive assigned projects forward
  • Advanced technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office toolset including Excel (e.g. pivot tables, macros, etc.)
  • Possess exemplary communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Establish, maintain, and support strong working relationships
  • Ability to work in an environment with multiple high priority projects
  • Demonstrates accountability, a strong work ethic, and an eye for detail to promote confidence and trust in their work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet ambitious deadlines
  • Collaborative and team-oriented work approach working in an office and/or remote environment
