Job Description - Legal Executive

Job Overview:
The Legal Executive shall be responsible for day -to -day legal work, including contract lifecycle
management, statutory compliance, legal research, and litigation support, ensuring the smooth
functioning of corporate legal activities and protecting the company’s interests.

Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
to safeguard the Company’s interests.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, terms, and conditions.
• Assist in managing litigation, arbitration, and other legal proceedings, including coordination
and communication with external counsel across various civil, criminal and commercial
matters.
• Maintain and keep legal records and documentation up to date, ensuring proper organization,
filing, and management of all Company’s legal documents.
• Provide legal guidance and support to internal departments (HR, Finance, Operations, etc.) on
business matters, regulatory issues, and statutory compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on corporate, commercial, labour, and
technology laws to support the Company’s legal strategy and decision -making.
• Assist in drafting legal notices, replies, affidavits, applications, written statements, and other
pleadings as required, including managing FIRs, coordinating with law enforcement
authorities, tracking case progress, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring legal
compliance and timely closure of cases.
• Ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks by effectively interpreting and applying key laws
relevant to the company’s operations, including the Public Examinations (Prevention of
Unfair Means) Act, 2024, the Companies Act, 2013, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, as well as
applicable Labour and Criminal Laws.

Requirements

Pre -requisites:
• Law degree from a recognized and accredited law school.
• 2 -3 years of experience in commercial contract drafting, review, legal support, and, civil and
criminal litigation.
• Strong understanding of corporate, civil and criminal laws along with the related legal
procedures applicable to the industry.
• Excellent communication, legal drafting, and research skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to quality.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
