Legal Officer (In-House)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Legal Officer to join our in-house legal team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in legal drafting, agreement preparation, criminal matters, settlement negotiations, litigation coordination, and legal compliance within the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and vet legal documents, agreements, contracts, notices, and legal correspondence.


• Handle criminal and civil legal matters and coordinate with external advocates.


• Prepare settlement agreements and assist in dispute resolution.


• Conduct legal due diligence and verify property-related documents.


• Ensure compliance with applicable real estate laws and statutory regulations.


• Liaise with government authorities and maintain legal records.

Required Skills

• Strong legal drafting and documentation skills.


• Experience in agreement drafting, settlements, and litigation support.


• Knowledge of real estate laws, property documentation, and criminal legal procedures.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• LL.B. from a recognized university.


• Minimum 4+ years of experience as an in-house legal professional, preferably in the real estate industry.
