Roles
and Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership:

• Serve as the
  primary technical escalation point for complex Linux-related issues.
  

• Provide
  expert-level guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level Linux
  engineers.
  

• Lead the
  planning, design, and execution of Linux-based projects, ensuring
  best practices and scalability.
  

• Conduct
  technical reviews of system designs and implementations to ensure
  adherence to standards and performance requirements.
  

• Foster a
  culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous
  improvement within the team.
  

System
Architecture & Design:

• Architect,
  implement, and optimize highly available, scalable, and secure Linux
  environments.
  

• Develop and
  maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and
  procedures.
  

• Evaluate and
  recommend new technologies and tools to enhance our Linux
  infrastructure.
  

System
Administration & Operations:

• Administer,
  monitor, and troubleshoot Linux servers (physical and virtual) in a
  production environment.
  

• Perform
  system installations, configurations, patching, and upgrades.
  

• Manage and
  optimize system performance, including CPU, memory, I/O, and network
  utilization.
  

• Implement
  and manage system security measures, including firewalls, intrusion
  detection, and access controls.
  

• Oversee
  backup and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and
  availability.
  

• Automate
  routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python,
  Ansible).
  

• Participate
  in on-call rotations for critical system support.
