<p><b>Job Brief :</b><br/><br/>From consumer electronics to hyperscalars to communications and automotive, chips used across all these domains contain platform software or device driver code.<br/><br/>Be it complex interfaces like Ethernet, PCIe, USB, storage or multimedia devices, GPUs etc., <br/><br/>Looking to hire engineers in our growing device driver team working on a cutting-edge Consumer SoC of a leading semiconductor company.<br/><br/><b>Roles & Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>The role involves designing, implementing and bug-fixing device drivers for various interfaces like I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, Display, camera, etc.<br/><br/><b>Must-Have Technical Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Excellent <b>programming skills in C</b><br/><br/>- Design, Implementation and debugging of <b>Linux device drivers</b><br/><br/>- Ability to read and understand <b>board schematics</b><br/><br/>- Knowledge of processor architectures for <b>ARM or RISC-V</b><br/><br/>- Deep knowledge on <b>Linux internals and Linux Kernel Architecture</b><br/><br/>- Experience on tools like Git, Yocto etc.<br/><br/>- Experience in debugging with JTAG, Signal Analyzers etc.<br/><br/>- <b>Socs platform</b><br/><br/><b>Good to Have Technical Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Experience in code upstreaming and Open Sourcing.<br/><br/>- BSP (Board Support Package) brings up experience including boat loader and Uboot.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<br/><br/>- Excellent verbal and written communication skills<br/><br/>- Self-managed and able to learn and adapt<br/><br/>- Eager to take on new challenging work</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
