Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Linux Engineer with strong expertise in Red Hat Linux Administration, Squid Proxy, and Remote Access VPN technologies. The candidate will be responsible for managing Linux infrastructure, troubleshooting system and network issues, configuring proxy services, and supporting secure remote connectivity solutions across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
  
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security of Linux environments.
  
• Configure and manage Squid Proxy servers for web access control, filtering, and caching.
  
• Implement and support Remote Access VPN solutions using Cisco VPN, Fortinet VPN, and OpenVPN.
  
• Perform Linux system hardening, patching, and security compliance activities.
  
• Troubleshoot operating system, network, proxy, and VPN -related issues.
  
• Monitor server health, resource utilization, and application performance.
  
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Bash Shell scripting.
  
• Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams for incident resolution.
  
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery activities.
  
• Maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
  

Mandatory Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Linux Administration.
  
• Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  
• Hands -on experience with Squid Proxy administration and troubleshooting.
  
• Experience supporting Remote Access VPN technologies.
  
• Hands -on exposure to Cisco VPN, Fortinet VPN, or OpenVPN.
  
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
  
• Experience with Linux security hardening and patch management.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Shell Scripting (Bash).
  
• Ansible Automation.
  
• Firewall Administration.
  
• Apache/Nginx Web Servers.
  
• Monitoring Tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
  
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
