Job role: 
This role will be responsible for managing livelihood protection, recovery and rehabilitation program in Disaster Management with the special focus on livestock protection in emergencies.

Roles & Responsibility

• Provide technical expertise on livelihood and livestock protection. Develop contingency plan and preparedness plans for livelihood and livestock protection
• Build network and partnership with stakeholders and strategic alliances to strengthen response activities.
• Develop modules, tools, SOPs
• Conduct trainings, workshops, seminars, for communities, para-vets and internal teams on awareness and preparedness of livelihood and livestock protection in emergencies. Conduct capacity development programs.
• Work on climate resilient practices, develop module and create awareness among farmer and other communities. Encourage the communities to adopt climate resilient practices.
• Implementation support to the teams on field
• Technical reporting of the program, MIS and dashboards.

- Other RF verticals and RIL eco-system

- Government Stakeholders from Livelihood and Livestock department

- Communities Fishermen, farmers, etc. and other livelihood groups

- Market Stakeholders

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Include Additional Certification Required if any

Necessary:

Post Graduation in the field of Livelihood/ Livestock. Ph.D. preferred in the related field Minimum 5 years of experience of working with Disaster Management Sector

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience of working on issues of livestock protection and/or livelihood protection, recovery and rehabilitation programs.
• Experience of working with UN agencies on Disaster Management.
• Experience of working in private sector in Disaster Management is desirable.
• Fluency in English, report preparation and presentation skills are essential
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
