ROLE OVERVIEW

The Logistics & Shipping Coordinator manages the shipping side of our orders remotely.

They source shipping rates from vendors, prepare the necessary shipping documentation,

and follow shipments closely from dispatch to delivery. A clear understanding of UAE

shipping requirements is important, and the role calls for someone genuinely attentive who

stays on top of every shipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

â¢ Vendor quotes â contact shipping vendors and freight forwarders to obtain and

compare shipping prices.

â¢ Shipment follow-up â track and follow up on shipments from collection through to

delivery, flagging any issues early.

â¢ Documentation â prepare shipping documents, including commercial invoices and

packing lists.

â¢ UAE requirements â apply knowledge of UAE shipping, customs and documentation

requirements to keep shipments moving smoothly.

â¢ Coordination â keep the sales coordinators and customers informed on shipment

status.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

â¢ Experience in logistics, shipping or freight forwarding.

â¢ Familiarity with UAE shipping and customs requirements.

â¢ Experience preparing commercial invoices, packing lists and related shipping

documents.

â¢ Good written and spoken English for dealing with vendors and customers.
