Responsibilities:

Organize, catalogue, and maintain library collections, including books, journals, and digital resources.
Manage library inventory and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Implement and monitor library policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Promote reading and literacy through library programs, events, and outreach initiatives.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Library Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a library or information management role.
Proficiency in library management systems and basic computer applications.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast -paced environment.
Familiarity with classification systems (e.g., Dewey Decimal or UDC).
Willingness to work in a community -focused educational setting in Mohanpur, Begusarai, Bihar.
