We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Head of the Department (English) to lead our pre -primary academic initiatives in Tellapur, Hyderabad. This strategic role is essential in shaping the department’s vision, driving curriculum excellence, and mentoring a team of early childhood educators. Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of pre -primary English educators to ensure consistent, high -impact instruction
Design, implement, and evaluate curriculum frameworks aligned with early literacy standards and developmental milestones
Conduct regular classroom observations, deliver actionable feedback, and support ongoing professional development
Collaborate with school leadership and stakeholders to align departmental goals with institutional strategy and vision
Oversee the creation and organization of lesson plans, teaching resources, and assessment tools
Promote a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement within the department
Act as a key point of contact between teaching staff, administration, and parents to ensure clear, consistent communication
Analyze student progress data to inform instructional planning, interventions, and program enhancements
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in English (BA English) or related field; Master’s degree preferred
10–12 years of progressive experience in early childhood education, including at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Demonstrated success in curriculum design, team leadership, and teacher mentorship
Expertise in early literacy development, child psychology, and play -based learning approaches
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams
Proven ability to lead change, improve academic outcomes, and support educator growth
Exceptional proficiency in spoken and written English, with a focus on language mastery and pedagogical excellence
Passion for holistic child development and advancing educational quality in early learning
