Lower Secondary English Teacher

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Grades 5–7.


• Teach English language, grammar, literature, reading, writing, and communication skills.


• Develop students’ vocabulary, comprehension, creative writing, and critical-thinking abilities.


• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and learning resources.


• Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.


• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.


• Use innovative and interactive teaching methods and appropriate digital tools.


• Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support students’ overall development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English with B.Ed. preferred.


• Prior teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE schools preferred.


• Strong communication and classroom-management skills.


• Passion for teaching and working with middle-school students.


• Ability to integrate technology and activity-based learning into lessons.
