Machine Operator (Extruded Snacks Production)

Requirements

• Operate and control the twin screw machine used for the production of extruded snacks.
  
• Set up the machine according to product specifications, including adjusting temperature, speed, and other parameters.
  
• Monitor the production process to ensure consistent quality and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
  
• Conduct regular checks on the machine to identify and resolve any technical issues or malfunctions.
  
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn-out parts.
  
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for more complex repairs and equipment upgrades.
  
• Maintain accurate production records, including machine performance, downtime, and raw material usage.
  
• Assist in the packaging process by operating the packing machine and ensuring proper labelling and coding of products.
  
• Conduct regular inspections of the packing materials and make necessary adjustments to achieve efficient packaging.
  
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring a clean and organized work area.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues during production to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  
• Coordinate with other team members, including supervisors, quality control staff, and maintenance personnel, to ensure smooth operations.
