Mainframe Developer

Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and support. Develop and maintain applications using COBOL and Unix. Create detailed design documents and develop source code based on provided specifications. Estimate effort for coding and unit testing tasks. Perform unit testing, conduct peer reviews, and document test results. Support QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by resolving issues identified during testing cycles. Familiarity with CA Service Desk Manager or similar ITSM tools. Strong documentation skills and experience with tools like Visio, Confluence, etc. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Experience in estimating development efforts and delivering within timelines.
